Welcome to Shoshin Equestrian & SomaRide!
Tired of the over polished wellness culture? You’ve landed in a space where realness matters, because we're all tired of the energy it takes to keep a facade. I’m here to help you and your horse feel better in your bodies and your partnership—through somatic movement, equine bodywork, and a whole lot of curiosity (with zero judgment). My one simple goal is to make riding enjoyable for both of you!

About Shoshin Equestrian
My Mission
Shoshin Equestrian exists to revolutionize the way riders connect—with their bodies, their horses, and their purpose. Through neuromuscular and energy based equine bodywork and rider somatic movement lessons, both horse and rider are empowered to reset no-longer-useful postural tension, reclaim balance, and come home to their bodies. Riding shouldn't be uncomfortable for either one of you!
Because when you move in balance, you ride in partnership.
Offerings
For riders & owners: I offer a self paced, virtual somatic exercise course, private sessions (online or in person), and group workshops/mini clinics—all rooted in the neuroscience and movement education of Clinical Somatics.
For horses: I provide multi-modality bodywork to holistically restore function and healthy movement, tensegrity, and well-being. My work is gentle. It isn’t about pushing harder or harshly manually manipulating the body—it’s about listening deeper to the body, softly working with systems and tissue, so both horse and rider can heal, transform, and show up in true partnership.
I offer distance or in person Reiki for humans and horses (or any beloved animal).
Expertise
As a former professional trainer /instructor and a certified Level 1 Somatic Movement Center Exercise Instructor, I bring both lived experience and science-based education to every session. I’ve been "in your boots"—I understand the frustrations and the desire to feel more balanced and connected in the saddle. My work is also shaped by over 8 years of studies in multiple equine bodywork modalities, allowing me to meet each horse exactly where they are, with exactly what they need. I am Reiki Level II practioner as well, which helps me bring softness and energetic presence to the work—because healing is deeper than the physical plane.
